2010 Team Specialized Racing
Our team enjoyed a solid 2009. Although not calculated by USA Cycling we reckon we have the third best junior team in the nation and one of the best masters teams in the world.
We are especially proud that Charlie Avis (2009 Junior Time Trial Champion) has joined the LiveStrong U23 Program for 2010. We want to be the number one junior team in the United States so we have added 5 juniors to our squad for the 2010 racing season.
While our cycling team heritage dates back to the late ‘80’s (Avenir, Subaru-Montgomery, Montgomery-Bell, US Postal, Discovery-AMD) it’s our unique program that puts us ahead of our competition. Each of our master’s athletes has the responsibility to assist in the development and support of our junior teammates. We plan to take our program to the next level in the coming year.
